Accessibility at EventSync Day-Of
Wedding-day information has to work for the people who need it, on the devices and with the assistive technology they use. We are building accessibility into the product and treating reported barriers as product defects.
EventSync is actively auditing common tasks across the public website, Workspace, and the iOS and Android apps. We do not currently claim that every surface conforms to WCAG 2.2 AA or that every Apple accessibility feature is fully supported across every common task.
What we are working toward
For web experiences, our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA for common user journeys. For the mobile apps, testing includes the criteria used for App Store accessibility information and the equivalent Android behaviors.
- Keyboard access and visible focus for interactive controls
- Screen-reader names, roles, order, headings, and status announcements
- Text resizing and layouts that remain usable at larger sizes
- Contrast and information that does not rely on color alone
- Touch targets sized and spaced for reliable activation
- Reduced-motion support where motion is not essential
- Voice-control labels that match visible control names
- Clear errors, instructions, and authentication steps
Common tasks in the audit
Testing starts with the actions that matter most rather than isolated screens. Current priorities include opening an invitation, signing in, joining a wedding, reviewing a role assignment, confirming a vendor arrival, reading the timeline, importing a run sheet, and finding support.
Known limitations
Some older marketing pages and complex planning or day-of views may not yet provide a consistent experience at high zoom, with larger text, by keyboard alone, or with a screen reader. Native accessibility testing and App Store accessibility declarations are still being completed. We will publish supported features only after the relevant common tasks have been tested.
Third-party services
EventSync links to the Apple App Store, Google Play, authentication providers, and other services that have their own accessibility practices. If a barrier occurs after leaving EventSync, tell us where it happened and we will help identify an available alternative when we can.
Request help or report a barrier
If something is difficult or impossible to use, contact us. Please include the task you were trying to complete, the page or screen, your device and browser or app version, and any assistive technology you were using. Do not send private invite tokens, passwords, guest health information, or other sensitive wedding data by email.
